As I sit in classrooms with uncomfortable chairs, old technology and interiors that could use some updates (i.e. a new coat of paint), why are we spending $60 million on a new student union?
I frequent the current University Student Union multiple times a day, on random days, and it has never been packed.
A better use of the $60 million would be to fix some chairs and repaint some rooms and maybe more parking.
We could put in a lot more parking for $30 million, solve a problem, and have money in the bank.
