Four-star recruit picks Fresno State

The 2018 Fresno State football recruiting class just got a whole lot better. Tyrone Sampson, a four-star offensive lineman from Detroit, decommitted from the University of Syracuse in December before choosing Fresno State as his new home on Friday.

One of the highest-rated players ever to commit to the Bulldogs.

With the departure of former-captain Aaron Mitchell, among other interior lineman, the addition of Sampson will no doubt be an upgrade in a position of need.

The Bulldogs already boast a strong recruiting class, including eight kids from the Central Valley. After a strong year going 10-4 and winning the Hawaii Bowl, Fresno State is preparing for another run at the championship.
