Fresno State selected Jamie Pontius-Hogan as the interim Title IX coordinator starting Jan. 10.

Pontius-Hogan has been the assistant dean of students and director of student conduct since 2015. Her temporary appointment will be full-time until a permanent coordinator is hired.

The university will begin a national search for a permanent Title IX coordinator in March, according to a news release.

Vice President for Administration Deborah Adishian-Astone said Pontius-Hogan will work with Erin Boele, who is now the deputy athletic Title IX coordinator with athletics.

The news release stated that Pontius-Hogan will continue her work on the Campus Assessment Response and Evaluation (CARE) Team, a group that addresses student struggles and concerns.

Pontius-Hogan’s office is located in room 4157 in the Henry Madden Library.
