Delritta Hornbuckle is the new dean of Library Services at the university’s Henry Madden Library.
Hornbuckle will be filling the role of newly retired, Peter McDonald.
She received her Masters of Library Science degree from the Pratt Institute in New York.
“Dean-elect Hornbuckle brings strong leadership experience, expertise in data analytics and library technology and a passion for student success,” said university provost Lynnette Zelezny in a univeristy news release.
Before arriving to Fresno State, Hornbuckle was the director of the Lasell College Brennan Library and the associate director of Library Information Services at the Harvard Business School.
An official university news release stated Peter McDonald holds a doctoratedegree, he does not. This news brief reflects the correction.
