He had a Fresno State ID card, meth and a knife, police say

A 44-year-old man was arrested Monday night after two female Fresno State students reported they were being followed on campus, police said.

The two students reported a man, identified as Armando Rodriguez following them near the south side of the Henry Madden Library about 11:30 p.m.

When officers approached Rodriguez, he was allegedly carrying a four-inch fixed blade knife, meth and a Fresno State student ID card.

Rodriguez also reportedly had bolt cutters which are considered a ā€œburglary tool,ā€ according to campus police.

He was arrested on campus and booked into the Fresno County Jail.
