The California Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation has opened up the chance for 60 students to receive $1,000 scholarships.
The scholarships are meant to provide students with financial assistance. Eligible students are being encouraged to apply.
Requirements for applying include: being a full-time student in good academic standing; being a graduating high school student with proof of college acceptance; having a minimum GPA of 2.5; submitting all supplementary documents with the completed application.
The deadline to apply for the scholarships is June 1. The application is found online at www.cllcf.org.
