As a cheesehead and just an all-around lover of the game, it is hard to go wrong with Aaron Rodgers as your quarterback. He is a “baaaad man” and he can literally do it all, especially with Nelson back as his primary target. The skillsets of my wide receivers speak for themselves as each, on average, scored 12 fantasy points or more every game of the 2015 season. Despite a mediocre latter half of their 2015 season, the Atlanta Falcons have Devonta Freeman in their arsenal and at an average of 16.5 fantasy points per game in the 2015 season with just 1,061 rushing yards, Freeman should not be overlooked. It is hard to go wrong with the Super Bowl winning defense led by Von Miller and they are sure to be a solid source of points on any Fantasy team, despite what may happen on the other side of the ball for the Broncos.

I had to go with the AC/DC connection with Derek Carr and Amari Cooper. If those two can continue to develop their chemistry, the sky’s the limit for them two! The other two receivers I chose are pretty elite. Antonio Brown and Odell Beckham Jr. perform at a high level every week, 100 yards every game seem like a normal thing for them. Although Le’Veon Bell is suspended for the first three games of the season, I think he should be a huge contribution when he comes back and both Todd Gurley and Adrian Peterson should hold their own. I went with Patriots kicker and tight end Stephen Gostkowski and Rob Gronkowski because I believe they’ll be the safe answer early on for New England to rely on with Brady out for the first four games. It came down to Seattle, Carolina and Arizona for me when trying to pick a defense but I think both Seattle and Carolina lost some crucial players in the offseason and that will ultimately cost them.

Cam Newton was far and away the number one fantasy QB. The number two QB was Tom Brady, and he’s suspended the first 4 games so Newton is sitting safe at number one. Newton put up amazing numbers without any actual wide receiver talent on the Panthers, and now Kelvin Benjamin returns from injury after missing last year, so Newton actually has a viable receiver to go along with Greg Olsen at TE. Antonio Brown is consistently the number one WR, it’s a no brainer to choose him if you can. In addition to Brown, I’m adding Amari Cooper and Allen Robinson. Cooper had a fantastic rookie year, and with another offseason with Derek Carr under the belt he should be able to turn into a top 5 WR; he certainly has the talent to. Robinson was the number four overall WR last year. Similar to Cooper, he’s only gotten more familiar with his QB (Blake Bortles) and should actually improve off of his 1400 yards and 14 touchdowns. And he’s got big play written all over him given the fact that he averages more yards per reception than all of the other top receivers, such as Brown, Julio Jones, Brandon Marshall, and Odell Beckham Jr. Todd Gurley was amazing as a rookie last year and should only get better, especially with how pathetic the Rams passing game looks like it will be. I don’t care that Le’Veon Bell is suspended for three games; he’ll perform so well for 13 games that I wouldn’t be surprised if he still ended up as the number one RB, he’s just that good. Rob Gronkowski is the easy choice at TE. Even with Brady out for four games he should still produce. Martellus Bennett could be an interesting pickup in the later rounds. His pairing up with Gronk could benefit him greatly. Stephen Gostkowski is simply the best kicker in the league, and also the best fantasy kicker. Lastly I want Arizona on defense. That defense is as good as it gets. With the fact that the Rams and Niners have terrible offenses, and that Seattle’s offense thrives on getting lucky, the Cardinals should have a very nice six division games in which to rack up fantasy points.
