The tentative agreement was voted through an online ballot on April 22 to 29 where 97 percent voted yes to approve the agreement and voter turnout was 63 percent.

The agreement revealed the terms of pay through July 2018 — a 5 percent general salary increase for all CSU faculty on June 30, 2016; a 2 percent a general increase on July 1, 2016; and a 3.5 percent general increase on July 1, 2017.

Additionally, this includes a 2.65 percent service salary increase for eligible faculty, a higher minimum at promotion for tenure-time faculty and a commitment to reform range elevation for lecturer faculty.
