The first thing you’ll notice isn’t the color of the beer, but the beer bottle itself. The solid green bottle features no large label, but instead is in itself in the shape of the Laughing Buddha.

The beer’s popularity probably stems from the unique bottle, but it keeps people coming back because it’s incredibly easy to drink.

This Asian-style lager pours a very transparent gold with the mild aroma of an American lager.

When you take your first sip, you’ll be surprised by how smooth it is.

It’s incredibly bubbly — more so than most beers. It almost has the level of carbonation you’d expect from club soda.

In fact, its incredible smoothness is one of its pitfalls. The beer is so smooth that it almost tastes like nothing at all. If the aroma were any lighter, you would forget you’re drinking beer at all.

The beer is produced in the Thousand Island Lake in China.

You can find the beer in stores around town, generally in 6-packs. It isn’t the greatest beer in the world, but it’s definitely worth trying it.
