With winter break coming soon, what is one to do when faced with the onslaught of familial gatherings and inevitable boredom? Netflix is always a good choice during the winter to catch up on your favorite shows or see a film that you’ve been putting off to watch.

For the beginning of every month, Netflix adds new TV shows and movies to its library.

Here are some standouts from its December list:

The Wolf of Wall Street (Available December 11)
You can’t go wrong with the creative team of Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio. You also can’t go wrong with this epic tale of Wall Street’s antics of sex, drugs and plenty of profanity. Also, you can’t miss Jonah Hill’s continued pace into the serious film world. Check out this Oscar-nominated film, if you didn’t do so during last year’s award season.

Marco Polo (Season 1) (Available December 12)
Netflix’s newest in-house production is sure to be answer to any fantastical void you may have from the “Game of Thrones” world.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (Now Available)
Will Ferrell and a slew of other comedy actors are just as hilarious as they were in the previous movie. Look especially for some surprise guests in the sequel. One of them is none other than Kanye West himself.

Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion (1997) (Available December 20)
“Um, I invented Post-Its,” is the one of the many one-liners that fans of Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino have come to recite from this beloved chick-flick. If you want some laughs and want to avoid seeing the new “Dumb and Dumber To.”
