The department of art and design hosted their opening reception of the 2014 faculty show in the Conley Art Gallery on Thursday. The reception was open to all students and faculty at Fresno State.
The faculty displayed various works from their teaching mediums: oil on canvas, sculpture, mixed media and more.
Department staff put on the art and design showcase roughly every two years to display their own ideas and approaches to their respective art mediums, associate professor Ed Gillum said.
The gallery will be open through Sept. 26.
