Shakira’s new self-titled album will drop March 25 featuring her familiar sounds of reggae, pop rock and dance as the driving forces for the music.

Her new single, “Can’t Remember To Forget You,” featuring Rihanna is in the Top 10 on the iTunes store.

This is her first English language album since her 2009 “She Wolf” album.

Super Bowl Sunday

Last year Beyoncé performed the coveted appearance at halftime and surprised both present attendees and fans at home with a mini-reunion with Destiny’s Child members, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

This year, the halftime showcased crooner Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the big stage.

American overseas troops made a special appearance on the screen with messages to their families during Mars’ “Just The Way You Are.”

Opera singer Renee Singer belted out the national anthem and pre-game performances included American Idol winner Phillip Phillips and country group The Band Perry on FOX.

Jennifer Lopez

“Jenny from the Block” is showcasing her Bronx roots again with for her eighth studio album that is in the works and is to be released later this year.

This past week Lopez released a 46-second clip for her “Same Girl” single that will be on the upcoming album.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis

Coming off a win of four Grammys, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are joining the likes of Britney Spears, Afrojack, Celine Dion and others for a residency on the Las Vegas strip.

The two will perform at the Wynn Resorts Encore Beach Club and Surrender Night Club. Both clubs are located at the Encore at the Wynn Las Vegas resort and Casino.

Their several scheduled appearances will be the first time that a hip-hop act will headline a residency. The duo will perform from May through September.

U2

U2’s new single, “Invisible” debuted during Super Bowl XLVIII and was available to download for free through iTunes.

Bank of America is donating $1 per download to Bono’s charity, (RED) which helps fight AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis worldwide.
