­Jay Z performed Dec. 10 2013 at the Save Mart Center and is nominated for nine Grammy awards for his album “Holy Grail”.

The 56th Annual Grammy Awards will air Jan. 26 on CBS at 8 p.m. and is hosted by entertainer LL Cool J.

Rapper Jay Z leads the pack with nine Grammy nominations.

New Grammy nominees include songstress Lorde and rapper Kendrick Lamar.

The night will feature duo performances from Lorde and Robin Thicke, Beyonce and Jay Z.

Daft Punk will perform alongside Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers.

Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Imagine Dragons, John Legend, Lorde, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Metallic and Paul McCartney are also slated to perform.

Nominations from the following categories are:

ALBUM OF THE YEAR: “The Blessed Unrest,” Sara Bareilles; “Random Access Memories,” Daft Punk; “good kid, m.A.A.d city,” Kendrick Lamar; “The Heist,” Macklemore & Ryan Lewis; “Red,” Taylor Swift

SONG OF THE YEAR: “Just Give Me a Reason,” Pink, Nate Ruess and Jeff Bhasker; “Locked Out of Heaven,” Bruno Mars, Philip Lawrence and Ari Levine; “Roar,” Katy Perry, Lukasz Gottwald, Max Martin, Bonnie McKee and Henry Walter; “Royals,” Lorde and Joel Little; “Same Love,” Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and Mary Lambert

BEST NEW ARTIST: James Blake; Kendrick Lamar; Macklemore & Ryan Lewis; Kacey Musgraves; Ed Sheeran
