October 2, 2011 marked the 142nd birthday of Mohandas K. Ghandi. A celebration was held on Sunday in the Fresno State Peace Garden to commemorate the event. Various events and activities are taking place illustrating the theme of “Stop the Hate, Build a Culture of Peace,” including a photo exhibit on display in the southeast corner of the second floor of the University Student Union. The exhibit features photos of Ghandi during various stages of his life.
