Since originally being called upon to peacefully protest “corporate greed and corrupt politics” on Sept. 17, the anti-Wall Street protests took a violent turn during Saturday’s march, BBC reported.
The march was organized in large part by the Occupy Wall Street campaign. The website occupywallst.org is an effort by the group to bring light to a situation that is seemingly otherwise being underplayed by mainstream media.
