Loss of a writer, musician and artist

Loss of a writer, musician and artist

Artists are cast from the same mold. Whether you’re a graphic, interior or fashion designer; whether you’re focus is film, print or photography; whether you play an instrument or would prefer to dance, act or sing–you’re an artist.

Music is literature, literature is art and art is music. It’s the circle of life of our existence. But, where there is life, there is death.

In the past six months, we have lost three of our own: Kassie, Nathan and Ella.

THE WRITER

Kassandra Brianne Lee died of a pulmonary

embolismon May 31, 2010,just a week after graduation.

Kassie was a mass communication and journalism major.

She was 22-years-old.

THE MUSICIAN

Nathan Ray, died in a car crash on Sept. 5, 2010,

just hours after his debut performancein the

‘Dogsseason opener in Bulldog Stadium.

Nathan played the sousaphone.

He was 18-years old.

THE ARTIST

Ella Danilyuk died in a car crash on Oct. 30, 2010,

on her way back from San Francisco.

Ella was a graphic designer.

She was 21-years-old.
