Local student organizations will unite Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010 for the importance of higher education in California, prior to the gubernational debate between Jerry Brown and Meg Whitman in theÂSatellite Student Union.

Where: the steps of the Joyal Administration Building at Fresno State
Why: to alert the candidates, the general public and the media that higher education must be a priority for California’s next Governor
