It looked a lot like Fresno State̢۪s game against Boise State Friday night was going to be similar to last season̢۪s 61-10 defeat.

Ryan Colburn threw an interception for a touchdown on the first possession of the game to put the Bulldogs in an early hole, 7-0.

D.J. Harper added a 60-yard touchdown run after a Kyle Brotzman field goal to extend Boise State̢۪s lead to 17-3.

Boise State led 24-3 in the second quarter before tailback Ryan Mathews came in for the rescue.

The junior out of Bakersfield scored from 69 yards and 60 yards out on consecutive offensive drives to cut the deficit to 24-17 where the score stands at the half.

Make sure to keep following the game on Facebook and Twitter. There will be a wrap-up following tonight̢۪s ballgame.
