Men̢۪s Basketball (10-10, 3-3 WAC)
vs.
Boise State (14-5, 5-2 WAC)
Tip-off: Tonight, 7 p.m. at Save Mart Center
Listen Live: KMJ-AM 580 and KFIG-AM 1600

Breakdown:
Bulldogs
The Bulldog defense is going to have their hands full tonight in their home game against the offensive onslaught of the Boise State Broncos.

The Fresno State defense has done an exceptionally good job contesting field goals this year. Boise has the best field goal percentage in the conference.

Boise State has gotten after the ball in the lanes and leads the league in steals. The Broncos could have a hard time hawking the ball seeing as Fresno has the lowest number of turnovers in the conference.

Though the team̢۪s winning percentages tell a different story, it should be a rather competitive game. Both teams have strengths that equal out the playing field. The more consistent team throughout tonight̢۪s game will be the victor.

The ‘Dogs can expect the usual contribution from seniors Kevin Bell and Eddie Miller. The usual mix of scoring and assists can be expected of Bell who has been solid this year. Miller has been hot at home this year.

In two conference home games, Miller has scored 27 points twice.

Breakdown:
Broncos
Boise State is currently the No. 1 ranked scoring offense in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). The Broncos offense has three players averaging over 17 points a game, all three in the top 10 in the conference for scoring.

After the team̢۪s win against San Jose State, Fresno State head coach Steve Cleveland said that this might be one of the best teams Boise has had. He called them a special group with four players able to score 20 at any moment.

Both teams have had much success from beyond the arc. Though Boise has the highest three-point shot percentage in the league, Fresno State has made more three-pointers than anyone in the league.

Broncos̢۪ offense
Boise State̢۪s offensive onslaught has propelled them to second place in conference:

No. 1 Scoring Offense
No. 1 Field Goal Percentage
No. 1 Three-Point Percentage
No. 1 Scoring Margin
No. 2 in assists
Three players in Top 10 Scoring

Women̢۪s Basketball
(11-8, 6-0 WAC)
vs.
Boise State (12-6, 4-2 WAC)
Tip-off: Tonight, 6 p.m. at Taco Bell Arena

Breakdown:
Bulldogs
After the team̢۪s victory at San Jose State, the women̢۪s basketball team has tied the record for the longest winning streak in Fresno State women̢۪s basketball history. A nine game victory has been repeated several times, but this win could give the team the record unanimously.

Players and coaches said they̢۪ve kept the winning streak going by taking it one game at a time, and staying focused on what is in front of them.

All of the games previous to the last two have just been wins they could take one at a time, but now the stakes are much higher. This one game means history.

Earlier in the year, the ‘Dogs beat the Broncos at home 73-63. Though the ‘Dogs have already beat this team, this match-up has shades of winning streaks, revenge and history the first didn’t have. Win or lose, tonight’s match-up at the Taco Bell Arena should leave people with plenty to talk about.

Series Record: FS leads 11-8
̢ۢBulldogs have won 7 of the last 9 meetings.
The Streak
Sac State 81-58
UC Riverside 68-67
Cal-State Northridge 69-58
La Tech 75-52
Boise St. 73-63
Idaho 68-59
Hawaii 74-54
San Jose State 81-63
San Jose State 83-65

Breakdown:
Broncos
The Boise State Broncos are not going to give them the victory easily. The Broncos are currently on a four game winning streak, and will be looking to continue it.

The Broncos have the No, 1 scoring offense in the conference led by junior Tasha Harris. This will be a true test for the Bulldogs̢۪ pressure defense they̢۪ve played all season.

The Broncos have taken care of the ball this season. Boise State has the second-lowest number of turnovers this season in the conference. The ‘Dogs have been aggressive in the passing lanes this season, and if they get at it too hard it may lead to mistakes.
