Lot V parking notice

May 14th the north end of Lot V will be closed and the south end of Lot V will be opened for parking until May 21st.

Beginning May 21st Parking Lot V will be totally closed.

The closure of Lot V is necessary in order to complete the renovation of the lot surface and to build a covered parking structure with a solar Photovoltaic roof. This Fresno State partnership with Chevron Energy Solutions will cover 722 parking spaces on 5.5 acres in Parking Lot V.

Lot V will remain closed until further notice. The project is anticipated to be complete in August 2007.

    The deal with Chestnut Ave. is that the City of Fresno struck a deal with Fresno State to widen the street. Then the city ran out of money, and they're having to scramble to complete it the road on practically non-existent funds.

    So, for once, the Chestnut issue is not Fresno State's fault. Talk to your mayor.

    I am doing research for a project in my construction class, and I was wondering if anyone knew the amount of metal that was used in the production of the stall covers and about how much that itself cost.

    What happened to that renovation of Chestnut (shaw to barstow>? Every time i drive by I see a blocked roadway with no visible sign of work taking place.
