Lipan Apache– We were honored to there on the second day to join in in the celebration. The rain given to us by the Creator strenthened our spirits. We enjoyed the Pow wow very much.

I love the video of the pow wow. The First Nations Student Organization is one to watch for amazing excellence! Working with the First Nations Student Organizations culminated into what was the best week since I’ve been at Fresno State. Many, many people worked together to make this all happen, but especially First Nations President, Anthony Yrigollen and VP, Hector Cerda, and Faculty Advisor, Dr. Nocona Pewewardy. The pow wow was beautiful. I think First Nations is off to an amazing start … and I look forward to seeing what they do in the coming years. Very exciting times!
