Sophomore tennis player and deaf studies major Danon Beatty tells all
Q: What is your favorite type of music?
A: I pretty much listen to anything. I like some alternative rock and then some harder stuff too.
Q: If you weren̢۪t playing tennis what sport would you want to play?
A: Gymnastics. I did that until I was 9. I was good at tumbling and the uneven bars.
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: That’s a hard question. I like inspiring movies like “Coach Carter� and “Rudy.� I pretty much like any sports movie.
Q : What teammate does your personality most closely resemble?
A: My roommate Vanessa Heroux. We both get up at 6:30 or 7 in the morning and we̢۪re very punctual and organized.
Q: What are some of your hobbies when you̢۪re off the court?
A: I sign a lot. I like to go to deaf events in the community and sign. I like to go to the movies and hangout with friends and eating. I love food.
