Diamond Dogs vs. Hawaii Rainbows

Whether as a result of a tough early-season schedule or just the fact they are finally playing better, the Fresno State Bulldogs have finally caught fire.

The Bulldogs (21-18) have won eight of their last nine games and share of the Western Athletic Conference lead with Louisiana Tech.

Fresno State coach Mike Batesole seems to have finally found a steady lineup and rotation fall back on.

A big part of that has been the performance of left-hander Justin Wilson, who seems to have regained control of his pitches. Wilson leads the team with a 3.14 ERA.

Wilson and the Bulldogs will need to continue playing in top form with Hawaii coming to town, a perennial pest and rival of the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs would be happy with a 2-of-3 series victory.
