It is really hard to write about 9/11. I was all ready to write about the mistakes our government has made in the foreign policy arena. About how President Bush’s outlook changed after that day. About where we could go from here, what foreign policy changes we could make right that have been wrong for so long.

Sept. 11 is a date that forever will occupy a special place in the hearts of all Americans. And for those of us who hold Fresno State dear, it is a date that is twice as significant.

Ten years later, the devastation that took place on Sept. 11 is still a vivid memory in the minds of most Americans. Although the chilling images from that morning can’t be changed, America and its people have.
