City Council District 4 candidates Susan Good and Paul Caprioglio took part in a candidate forum hosted by Associated Students, Inc. Tuesday night at the Satellite Student Union to discuss issues relating to Fresno State students and their community.

By now the excitement of the beginning of a new school year has worn off, and students are starting to count down the days until their first paper or first big test is due. All the Greek rush events, clubs fairs and student involvement days are over and it may seem that involvement opportunities are scarce because their visibility has been reduced. This is not the case!

Crime in neighborhoods around campus has sparked the development of a coalition to clean up and improve neighborhoods in the vicinity. Revitalization efforts have risen before, but this year Fresno State students, Fresno City Council member Larry Westerland, and both Fresno and University police have joined the cause.
