Student tickets for tonight's football game against the Big Ten's Illinois are still available as of 2:25 p.m. Paul Ladwig, associate athletics director over external relations and broadcasting, said that 3,600 student/student-guest tickets have been purchased. Four hundred tickets remain for those who are still wanting to buy tickets. Student and student-guest tickets are $5 each.

Feeling the pressures of the budget cuts Fresno State’s athletic department and athletic teams have been forced to re-evaluate their spending. “Our budget is normally a little over $25 million and this year it will be somewhere a little over $23 million,â€Â said Director of Athletics Thomas Boeh.
