The Collegian announces spring '07 business staff

The Collegian is proud to announce the business staff for the spring semester.

Gina Siqueiros, a senior mass communication and journalism — advertising major, will be the new local advertising manager. Stephanie Backiel, also a senior advertising major, will fill the position of advertising coordinator. Grace Guanlao, a junior advertising major, will fill the national advertising assistant position.

While the search for a new art director is still under way, Maria Cruz will be taking over as the ad production designer. Cruz is a senior advertising major.

Michael Villegas and Rene Samora have both been hired to handle special projects. Villegas and Samora are both senior advertising majors.

The Collegian is also glad to welcome back Martin Lagdameo as the accountancy assistant; Lagdameo is working on becoming a CPA. Also returning are Michael Allee as distribution manager and Bryan Harley as Webmaster. Allee is a senior entrepreneurship major and Harley is a senior majoring in electronic media production.

The Collegian will be announcing its spring 2007 editorial staff early next week.
