The Fresno State soccer season has been over for quite a while now, but that hasn’t stopped senior Rochelle Jagdeo from winning awards.
Jagdeo was named to the NSCAA/Adidas NCAA All-West Region third team, as announced by the coaches’ organization.
Along with the rest of the graduating senior class, Jagdeo ended her Bulldogs career with a loss to Nevada in the finale of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament.
With the award, Jagdeo becomes the second player in Fresno State history to be named to the team, joining former Bulldog Jill Pearson, who won the award in the 2000 season.
“I’m extremely happy for Rochelle to receive this honor, which is voted on by every coach in the West Region,” Fresno State head coach Steve Springthorpe said.
The All-West Region award comes after Jagdeo recently won her second straight WAC Defensive Player of the Year Award, becoming the first Bulldogs player in history to do so.
