'Dogs pass first road test at OSU

The Fresno State men’s basketball team remains undefeated with a hard-won victory over Oregon State, Saturday.
The game was tied up 67-67 with less than 4 minutes in the game. Senior Ja’Vance Coleman put the ‘Dogs ahead with a 3-pointer. The Bulldogs fought the Beavers back, keeping them scoreless for three and a half minutes. Kevin Bell hit two free throws and the Bulldogs finished the game 74-69.
“This is a big win for our team, to come into a Pac-10 team’s home court and come out with a victory is big,” Bell said.
Hector Hernandez had a double-double with a game-high 23 points and 12 rebounds. Bell and Dominic McGuire both hit double digits, scoring 13 and 12 points, respectively.
Fresno State was aided by its 3-pointers, scoring six of 13, with half of those coming from Eddie Miller.
The Bulldogs will finish their road trip on the coast against Santa Barbara, Wednesday, Dec. 6.
