Thumbs up for the football team after the 32 point loss to 14th-ranked LSU Saturday. Hey, it could have been worse.

Thumbs up to the university for finally deciding to save the Amphitheater from demolition — and for deciding that the University High School campus should go on the outer edges of campus rather than the center. It’s about time.

Thumbs up to all the guys who attended “Take Back the Night” last Wednesday. It was a nice gesture, even if they were only there for extra credit.

Thumbs up to Justin Timberlake for announcing a Save Mart center concert in January. Let’s just say he’s bringing sexy back to Fresno — and The Collegian’s female editors will be there to see it.

Thumbs up to Associated Students for launching a survey about puddles on campus walkways — even though it hasn’t rained in months. Talk about being proactive. Question seven on the Blackboard poll asks whether we consider the puddles to be “visually displeasing.” You bet we do.
