Standing by Fresno State Football

In regards to the article about students supporting our football program I was a little disappointed and angered by the responses of some of the students.

Where is the school pride that these students should be displaying?

The majority of the responses that those interviewed gave fell into the typical Fresno hype of, “If my team isn’t winning they’re not worth my time!”

This university has become so bandwagon and homerish it isn’t even funny. According to the article the only reason people are going is because it’s homecoming. Who Cares! Bulldog Football is our football! Win or Lose this is our team!

If you want to cheer a team that wins all the time and dump them when they lose then transfer to USC.

That’s the popular sentiment down there. Every team has their down season, Tennessee and Washington had theirs last year and they brought themselves back up with a quarterback that knows what he’s doing now.

If you’re going to be bandwagon and only cheer when they win then go ahead and stay home, we don’t need you!

There are more than enough diehard Bulldog fans out there that support their team Win or Lose. We don’t need any Homers out there.
