Week 6 a chance to make big gainsBy Joh Gus This week do not play anyone from the Browns, Packers, Colts, Jaguars, Vikings or Patriots … because they all have byes this week and they will get you zero points. All joking aside, change your lineup every week, too often owners will neglect their lineups and foolishly start a player that doesn’t even have a game which is the equivalent of asking for a loss. So now you know. Week 6 has some really good plays at QB and RB, but the WR position is looking a little thin, so dig deep and take a chance and hope for the best. Good luck with that, this week’s top plays are… QB 1. D. McNabb (PHI) vs. NO – Must start. 2. Rex Grossman (CHI) vs. ARI – Bears roll to 6-0. 3. Marc Bulger (STL) vs. SEA – NFC West shootout here. 4. Carson Palmer (CIN) vs. TB – Bucs struggling this year. 5. Drew Bledsoe (DAL) vs. HOU – Texans are giving up a lot to the pass this year. 6. Matt Hasslebeck (SEA) vs. STL – Alexander is still out, so Seahawks will rely on the pass. 7. Michael Vick (ATL) vs. NYG – Vick should give Giants D some trouble this week. 8. Eli Manning (NYG) vs. ATL – Tough match-up, but he will be throwing all game. 9. Jon Kitna (DET) vs. BUF – He would be ranked higher but WR Williams is iffy. 10. Philip Rivers (SD) vs. SF – 49ers D plays well at home, but SD playing very well right now. Honorable Mentions – David Carr (HOU) vs. DAL, J.P. Losman (BUF) vs. DET, Drew Brees (NO) vs. PHI, Mark Brunell (WAS) vs. TEN, Jake Plummer (DEN) vs. OAK RB 1. LaDanian Tomlinson (SD) vs. SF – LT looking great here. 2. Clinton Portis (WAS) vs. TEN – Titans struggle vs. the run. 3. Rudi Johnson (CIN) vs. TB – Another heavy workload for Rudi. 4. Steven Jackson (STL) vs. SEA – Stud so far this year. 5. Tiki Barber (NYG) vs. ATL – Tiki always gets his touches, nothing changes this week. 6. Thomas Jones (CHI) vs. ARI – Benson’s a threat to his job, but he should be fine this week. 7. Brian Westbrook (PHI) vs. NO – Always a must start when he’s on the field. 8. Tatum Bell (DEN) vs. OAK -- Tatum out to prove again this week that he can be an every down back. 9. Larry Johnson (KC) vs. PIT – Not a great match-up but LJ is hot right now. 10. Julius Jones (DAL) vs. TEN, Honorable Mentions – Warrick Dunn (ATL) vs. NYG, Willis McGahee (BUF) vs. DET, Kevin Jones (DET) vs. BUF, Ronnie Brown (MIA) vs. NYJ, Willie Parker (PIT) vs. KC, Reggie Bush (NO) vs. PHI WR 1. Terrell Owens (DAL) vs. HOU – He should finally get it going this week. 2. Torry Holt (STL) vs. SEA – He’s lighting it up again this year. 3. Darrell Jackson (SEA) vs. STL – He’s a must start until Branch steals his production. 4. Santana Moss (WAS) vs. TEN – He was quiet last week, but that should change this week. 5. Steve Smith (CAR) vs. BAL – Tough draw for Superman, but he’ll be the target of 10+ passes. 6. Andre Johnson (HOU) vs. DAL – He’s getting a lot of late production which great news for his fantasy numbers. 7. Terry Glenn (DAL) vs. HOU – Another great match-up for Glenn. 8. Lee Evans (BUF) vs. DET – Evans is starting to heat up and should have a chance to do damage against Lions. 9. Anquan Boldin (CHI) vs. ARI – He’s the #1 now with Fitzgerald out for a few weeks. 10. Bernard Berrian (CHI) vs. ARI – Former Bulldog is making big plays each week. Honorable Mentions – T. J. Housmanzadeh (CIN) vs. TB, Laveranues Coles (NYJ) vs. MIA, Joey Galloway (TB) vs. CIN, Plaxico Burress (NYG) vs. ATL, Marques Colston (NO) vs. PHI TE 1. Antonio Gates (SD) vs. SF 2. L.J.
