Highs and lows at the Fresno Fair

Understanding voyeurism: a discursive process

An end to the language/gender debate

Stating the Obvious...

Stating the Obvious...

One thumb down to the football team for losing by one point to Utah. How did we beat Nevada again?

Thumbs down to Chestnut Avenue being closed for another semester. It certainly won’t help the traffic situation any.

Thumbs up to women’s tennis player Melanie Gloria for beating No. 1 ranked player in the nation Audra Cohen from the University of Miami at the ITA All-American tournament last weekend. Sources say she did it without the sound effects that have become so common in women’s tennis today. Awwww…

Thumbs up to the new clocks that are keeping students (and professors) on time in many campus classrooms. Now there are no excuses for professors keeping students in class late.

Thumbs up to the Big Fresno Fair for having not only the usual corndogs and cinnamon rolls but also a pirate ship play structure this year. We may be college students but we’re not above using the slides.
