Thumbs up to Dean of Student affairs Paul Oliaro for sporting a safari hat at the inaugural SAFARI day on Sept. 22. Looking good, Dr. O.
Thumbs up to USU Productions for bring Cotton’s Dirty Laundry Tour to campus. Fresno State is the tour’s only stop in California — let’s make it worth their while (and beat Michigan State’s record for donations).
Three thumbs down (one for each turnover) for the Bulldog offense at Saturday’s game against Colorado. Lack of execution, lack of cohesiveness, no sense of urgency… the idea is to win the game, guys.
Thumbs down to the new expensive video screen in the football stadium going out in the third quarter — and not showing replays for most of the game. Glad to see that $1.7 million went to good use.
Thumbs down to the University High School students who taped one of their peers to a tree near The Collegian office on the first week of classes — and the kids last week we saw beating each other with belts. Some maturity, please? Maybe it’s good that most UHS students don’t end up going to college at Fresno State.
