Bulldogs win final exhibition

Ja’Vance Coleman led the Fresno State men’s basketball team with 24 points in an 80-59 win over CSU Monterey Bay on Sunday at the Save Mart Center.

Coleman was 6 of 8 on 3-pointers after hitting 5 of 8 3s in the exhibition opener against Fresno Pacific.

Senior center Mustafa Al-Sayyad had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds in 26 minutes.

Freshman Chris Berry chipped in 16 points and five rebounds in a team-high 34 minutes.

The Bulldogs regular season opener is Friday against Maryland-Eastern Shore at 8 p.m.
