The 14th-ranked Bulldogs dropped a doubleheader to No. 13 Stanford on Wednesday in Palo Alto.

Fresno State’s Christina Clark hit her 12th home run of the season in the first game, a 3-2 extra-inning loss.

Bulldogs pitcher Jamie Southern fell to 17-5 on the season with the loss, giving up seven hits and three runs in eight innings.

Fresno State dropped to 25-12 with a 7-0 loss in game two.

Pitcher Laura Ferreira fell to 5-4 on the year with the loss.

The Bulldogs host Ohio State for a Friday doubleheader beginning at 6 p.m.

WOMEN’S TENNIS

The Bulldogs remained flawless at home with a 6-1 victory over UC-Santa Barbara on Wednesday at the Wathen Tennis Center.

The No. 13 Bulldogs have won 11 of their past 12 matches.

Freshman Jelena Pandzic, ranked No. 13 in singles play, won 6-0, 6-0 in her No. 1 singles match. No. 76 Lucia Tallo won 6-1, 6-1 in No. 2 singles.

The Bulldogs visit No. 36 Arizona on Saturday at 2 p.m.
