Edwards to visit Fresno mall today

Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards will briefly stop in Fresno today at 4 p.m. at Manchester Center.

The North Carolina senator will spend an hour in Fresno speaking to supporters before continuing on to Sacramento.

Edwards received an endorsement from the Fresno Bee, in an editorial in Sunday’s paper. The editorial praised Edwards as being a real choice versus “the tired old politics of special-interests controlling the fate of most Americans.”
