Elusive laptop thief on the loose

University police received a tip from a confidential informant that a man, whose alias is “Jake,” may be stealing laptops on campus.

Police say students should not try to approach the suspect, described as a white man with an “eyeball” tattooed on the left side of his neck and a wizard tattoo on his shoulder. Instead, students should call the university police at 278-2132 and refer to case 03-700.
