The Armenian Students Organization had a very successful semester, with four events held during the Fall 2024 semester, and one being planned for the month of December.
On Friday, October 25, students gathered for the ASO Halloween Party, and students were encouraged to bring pumpkins for a painting/carving contest, as well as participating in a costume contest for prizes! There was a turnout of over 20 people, and students enjoyed each other’s company while playing games inside, with amazing food barbecued by students and Prof. Barlow Der Mugrdechian. There was a large amount of dessert as well.
On Friday, November 22, ASO hosted a Friendsgiving Potluck. This event had an amazing turnout, with over 35 students present. There were many team-based activities and games, including cup pong, a maze relay, blindfolded challenges, partnered relays, and more!
The evening was filled with laughter and fun, and the students enjoyed trying the foods brought by their friends.
The new ASO crewnecks for the school year were also debuted during this event and many got purchased!
The Executive Board plans on hosting a December event for its members and encourages new students to attend.
