Is Davante Adams back?
The former Bulldog wide receiver had his best performance yet in a New York Jets uniform.
Adams finished with seven receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown. This was his first game with a touchdown since week 2.
His impressive stat line helped the Jets push past the Houston Texans, winning 21-13.
The impressive performance prompted Adams to post a picture of him and his quarterback on Instagram with the caption, “It took a second to get Rome put together too.”
It will likely take more games like this from Adams for New York to get back on track this season.
The (3-6) Jets will head on the road to take on the (5-4) Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, Nov. 10.
Derek Carr makes his return
Carr returned to the field Sunday after he had missed the last three games with an oblique injury.
The former Bulldog finished the day with 236 passing yards and a touchdown.
Despite his return, the Saints’ struggles continued, losing 23-22 to the Carolina Panthers.
The loss on Sunday made history for Carr and the Saints.
Carr became the first quarterback in NFL history to lose to 31 different teams. The only team he has not lost to is the Raiders, who the Saints will play in Week 17.
The Saints were the first team in 20 years to lose a game despite out-gaining the Panthers by over 150 yards, rushing for over 150 yards while winning the turnover battle.
The Saints have been plagued by injuries this season which has played a big part in their seven-game losing streak.
The (2-7) Saints will try to get back in the win column against the (6-3) Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Nov. 10.
Other ‘Dogs in the NFL
