Aliz Kalmar made her mark at Fresno State in February by setting program records for the swim and dive team, earning the title of The Collegian’s Top Dog.
Kalmar set not only one but two swim and dive program records in the 100-meter breaststroke at the Mountain West Conference Championship on Feb. 23.
The first time was in her preliminary race, where she ended at 1:00.19, breaking the previous record of 1:01.09.
But she didn’t stop there. This time, in the finals, she broke her record with a time of 1:00.05. This made it the third time she set records in the water this season.
Kalmar placed second in the 100-meter breaststroke and fifth-place in the 200-meter breaststroke in the Mountain West Tournament.
