In collaboration with Associated Students Inc. (ASI), Fresno State’s Office of Parking and Transportation will offer a limited time shuttle service to students.
Debbie Adishian-Astone, Fresno State’s vice president for administration and chief financial officer, announced the news in a campus-wide email Thursday morning.
“The campus has issued a request for proposal (RFP) for external campus shuttle services similar to Bulldog Express that hopefully can resume in the 2023/24 academic year. This limited service is for the spring 2023 semester,” Adishian-Astone said in the email.
The Bulldog Express was a shuttle service that made multiple stops throughout the campus area for students to navigate the university easier, running throughout the week. Many students wondered when it would return since it stopped operating during the pandemic.
This limited shuttle will transport students from the roundabout near the North Gym to Lot 1 of the Save Mart Center parking lot. Priority seating will be given to students who park near the arena.
It’ll consist of two vans, with a capacity of seven passengers each, and it will pick up students every 20 minutes. The shuttles will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
This service will run for the Spring 2023 semester.
