The Henry Madden Library is reopening limited individual study spaces for students to reserve at a first come, first served basis starting April 22.
Many library services have transitioned to virtual services during spring 2021 due to COVID-19, however physical study spaces will be made available for reservation during the library’s operating hours on Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Once all study spaces are filled, signs will be posted at the entrance of the library, and library employees will continue to monitor the amount of students utilizing study spaces, according to a news release.
The max capacity will be 49 people.
Fresno State students are required to bring their student ID card to enter the library. Face coverings will be required and students must complete the daily health screening prior to entering campus.
Library computers and devices will not be available for use, and students are advised to bring their own laptops, tablets and devices.
No food is allowed, and hand sanitizer will be available on campus.
Fresno State said that all other library services will remain virtual. Material pickup and tech lending are currently the only services offered inside the building.
