Fresno State faculty, staff and student assistants working in person will now have the opportunity to get the COVID-19 vaccine on campus.
In a partnership with the Fresno County Department of Public Health and Valley Children’s Health Care, the university will offer a single-day COVID-19 vaccination clinic on April 8 for all faculty, staff and frontline student assistants, said Vice President for Administration and Chief Financial Officer Debbie Adishian-Astone and Interim Provost Xuanning Fu via email.
Eligible members will receive two emails with a personalized link to schedule appointments for their first and second doses. The clinic will offer the two-dose Pfizer vaccine, and the first dose will be given on April 8 at the Save Mart Center.
The second dose will be given on April 29 as federal guidelines recommend spacing the doses at least 21 days apart.
Astone and Fu said members of the campus who are coming to the clinic should have their Fresno State ID with them. If they have any questions, they can contact Amy Luna from the Fresno State Police Department at [email protected].
