A traffic advisory will be in effect for the March 13 Justin Timberlake concert at the Save Mart Center, as heavy traffic is expected from 5-9 p.m., according to a university news release.
Fresno State traffic operations has advised students parking in the SMC parking lot to exit by 3 p.m., and anyone arriving or leaving campus after 4 p.m. should plan on extra travel time.
There will also be parking lot and roadway restrictions in effect on the east side of campus, which will impact parts of Woodrow and Chestnut avenues as well as Matoian Way. It will also affect access to parking lots P2-P6, according to a report from the Fresno State Police Department and traffic operations.
Save Mart Center roadways will be closed to nonevent traffic. Fresno State PD suggests entering and exiting campus from the south side of campus at Maple and Barton avenues or from the west on Barstow Avenue.
The Bulldog Express shuttle service pick up and drop off locations in the Save Mart Center parking lot will end at 3 p.m., according to the report.
Doors for the event will open at 6 p.m., and the event is scheduled to end at 7:30 p.m.
