The Fresno Bee has reported that Fresno State men’s basketball secured a verbal commitment from 3-star recruit Orlando Robinson for the 2019 season on Thursday.
Robinson played high school basketball at Middlebrooks Academy in Los Angeles and is a 6 feet, 9 inch tall big man. He is a versatile forward who can play with his back to the basket and also face up and make jump shots, according to the report.
Reportedly, Robinson is just shy being rated as a 4-star recruit.
It is Bulldogs head coach Justin Hutson’s first verbal commitment for the 2019 season. Robinson was reportedly being recruited by Oregon State, Georgia Tech and Boise State before committing to the Bulldogs.
Robinson also plays for the Las Vegas Knicks of the Amateur Athletic Union. He cannot officially be introduced as a Bulldog commit until he signs a National Letter of Intent in November.
