The Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Fresno State will host guest speaker Gia Kazarian, a leadership and social consultant at First Impressions Consulting, on Sept. 13 for the first of three Pay It Forward luncheon events.
Kazarian has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UCLA and a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from New York University. Since 2004, she has worked as a consultant helping individuals better present themselves professionally and socially, according to a university press release.
The luncheon is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Satellite Student Union. Although the event is free, registration is required. Attendees are encouraged to register early, as space is limited.
The Pay It Forward series aims to engage students with business leaders and alumni to promote discussions and create networking opportunities within the Fresno State community.
Each event in the series will include a luncheon and a keynote speaker, usually an individual with connections to Fresno State and/or the Central Valley.
The next event in the series will be on Oct. 12, featuring speaker Josiah Gordon, co-founder and chief marketing officer at DRINKS, a digital wine marketplace with shipping solutions.
