The Mountain West Conference announced on Wednesday that Fresno State’s home opening football game against Idaho on Sept. 1 will be broadcast live exclusively on Facebook. Click here to watch.
The game against the Vandals will be one of seven MWC games broadcast on Facebook this coming season, according to GoBulldogs.com. According to a news release, seven MWC football games were aired on Facebook last season, reaching more than 17 million viewers.
The television schedule for the 12-game 2018 regular season is now set. Eleven games will be featured on national television.
The games at Minnesota and UCLA on Sept. 8 and Sept. 15, respectively, will both be aired on the FS1 network.
The next four games — against Toledo, Nevada and Hawaii in Fresno and New Mexico there — will be broadcast on one of ESPN’s channels.
The games against UNLV on Nov. 3 and San Diego State on Nov. 17 will both be carried on the CBS Sports Network.
The Boise State game there on Nov. 9 will be aired on ESPN2, and the final game of the season against San Jose State at Bulldog Stadium on Nov. 24 will be on one of ESPN’s channels.
