The Money Management Center at Fresno State hosted a free paint night for students on Tuesday night at the USU Bulldog Zone.
The goal for the night was to advocate the newly-launched money portal available through their website. The website is personalized for each individual and includes tools for budgeting, calculators and learning modules, according to Money Management Center coordinator, Charah Coleman.
“We want to help students discover their financial freedom,” Coleman said. “And whatever tools and support we can do that with, we’ll do it.”
The pink ceramic piggy banks were provided along with snacks and beverages.
The center kicked off the new school semester with a fun social to showcase events and workshops in the future and spread the word, according to Coleman.
The Money Management center is located in the Thomas Building Room 104, and offers free financial services to students Monday through Friday, with appointment.
More Money Management Center events are expected in the future, according to organizers.
