Fresno State announced on Tuesday it will accept a limited number of applications for admission to spring 2019 semester classes from transfer students and graduate and post-baccalaureate students applying for specific graduate and credential programs.
The application period begins on Aug. 1 and closes on Aug. 31, according to the university.
Applications will be accepted from upper-division transfer applicants from local community colleges “who have completed all transfer admission requirements by earning an associate degree for transfer by the end of fall 2018.” The minimum GPA considered for transfer admission is 2.75.
Lower-division transfer students and students who have not completed the transfer associate degree will have to wait to apply for fall 2019 admission, according to Dr. Malisa Lee, associate vice president of enrollment management. She added that first-time freshmen applicants and returning students will also have to wait for the fall application period.
Applications will also be open to new and returning students applying for selected graduate and credential programs. Information for graduate and post-baccalaureate students is available at www.fresnostate.edu/gradstudies.
Students can begin applying online at www.calstate.edu/apply starting on Aug. 1, the release says. Information for undergraduate transfer applicants, including the list of local community colleges, is available on the Student Affairs admissions and recruitment webpage.
